I gave him 6 and think that's generous. Averaged almost 2 goals a game. Looked a bit sore I thought.

But ultimately far below the impact you want from a $1mil/year player more or less.

Missed a LOT of easy ones. Should be aiming to reach his 2019 heights next year.

Not good enough in my opinion.
Positives: I think was his attempts to pressure the opposition looked on tv to be ok for his ability and size, what I’m trying to say is at least he looked like he was trying to keep the ball inside 50 most of the time with some pressure.

Negatives: Either he’s told to flap his arms around whilst there’s massive space in the left fat side to lead into or he’s just lazy and stupid.
If he’s told to do that then that’s another issue all together.  :help
It’s  more productive for any big forward to have some forward momentum when trying to take a grab especially in a pack situation because said forward can at least crash in an do some damage to the opposition backmen whilst bringing the ball to ground for the crumbers.
Why would anyone want to be stagnant?   :huh

Footy is pretty simple when you think about it.  :rollin

Someone of his ability and size should be hopefully kicking 50+
Hopefully his body is right for next season with some rest and a full preseason.
The club that keeps giving.

Tom's year was frustrating, I think he clearly had some injuries that stopped him from being at his best.

Our disconnection with inside 50 was also a factor, our delivery was rubbish. His inability on many occasions to get separation was my biggest concern.

Big year for Tom next year.

true so much mindless bombing into the goalsquare
but some strong leading might have helped

Agree with most of this

But did feel for him and Jack with the forward plan obsession of having one of them deep not leading with the idea they simoly create a contest and bring it to ground. With the small forwards so hopelessly out of form and at times non-competitive it was stupid and costly.
