Guernsey numbers & changes for 2022?
« on: November 03, 2021, 02:34:12 AM »
With the list changes and retirements, we have a fair few low-number guernseys now free to go to a new home:

6, 12, 13, 14, 18, 24, 28, 30.

Who do you think we move 'up' and change their guernsey number for 2022?

Perhaps RCD, Dow or Mansell to number 6 or 14

But then again Tarrant will get to chose his number so he may take 6

Ben Miller to 24 or 28

Ralphsmith to 18

Hope they leave 12 unallocated for at least 12 months. Ditto 30, important nu,ber at our club you didn't give it to anyone

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing Dow moving to say 6, 13 or 14

Freeing up 27 for MRJ. Maurice Snr wore 27 in his final couple of seasons

And finally what about number 17? Even though Cotchin didn't wear it; is their still the availability for the next Captain  to want to wear that number as it was (is) the "Captain's number"?  ;D :eyebrow

God no. Leave that captain wearing 17 rubbish in the dismal past where it belongs

Tarrant 24
Gibcus 18
Brown 13
Sonsie 14
Banks 28
Clarke 40

6, 12 and 30 to remain unallocated pending an obvious choice
