We can all dream a better comp. But staying that people didn't give two hoots when Capper plated at the swans but when Roos ran the joint the crowds at MCG games were all red n white.

What's the point if half the games on the weekend either overlap or clash....who the stuff's watching GC v Norf or GWS anyway? If all the anecdotal evidence is to be believed less & less people are watching neutral matches thanks to the crap rule changes and the increasingly thin spread of talent..with a well implemented & funded plan & proper vision they could still have plenty of content and even more......:shh

Yep, I am sure I have said this elsewhere too.

Admittedly I have kids now and less time but honestly there's not enough talent in the country to field 18 teams. If you took 2 teams, scrapped them, added another star player to most teams and plenty of B graders it would be much more aesthetically pleasing to watch.

This is why the women's AFL isn't taking off like I think it should - they tried to expand too quickly. Content over quality as WP put it.
