Unless we have youth running through the mid to help dusty bolts we will be lucky to finish 9th. Unfortunately our youth (Ross) are useless and only know how to break momentum.

RCD may not be everyone’s cup of tea but he seems quicker in the games I’ve seen. He needs to play.
Our strength and conditioning has been off since Inness left. We're no longer running out games and we're getting repeat soft-tissue injuries. We can't get continuity in team selection. Last night's pathetic last quarter was a repeat of the Collingwood game capitulation last year  :thumbsdown.   

RCD was flying before Christmas at training but he copped an injury and missed a vital two week period of legwork training that the rest of the squad did. He also missed the club camp. His ribs (contact injury) have made him miss another week recently. That's why he's slipped down the pecking order.

Questions now have to be asked about our fitness and conditioning program since Rob Inness left. This complete failure to run out games happened last year and now already twice this year. Then add the repeat soft tissue injuries.

Hugely alarming.

I think we have to acknowledge that our game plan is not suited to ageing bodies. Especially ageing mids. The pressure game which a lot of teams have adopted is suited to younger bodies. Port aging list have struggled this year Cats have been lucky, we have struggled. Young midfielder like Blues, Dee's, Swans and even pies and hawks have been fairly competitive.

Think we are just about ready to thank our ageing legends for service and look towards our next gen.
