Deliberately knock a player out off the ball and cop the longest suspension for the year.

AFL: Here you go, have an All-Australian jacket.

 ::)

How the hell did Rozee make the AA team? He had an ordinary year :huh3. Looks like the AFL wanted one token player from the  SA sides.

The AA side should be held after the finals anyway. That's how you determine the best players. We play for premierships not H/A points.

Half back line is three guys from bottom 10 sides...

Blicavs, Hawkins captain, Stewart missing 5 games and sniping a player, Chris Scott must have been selector.
And you may not think I care for you

Selectors lazily just looking at their fantasy footy favourites and their stats rather than those that actually impact heavily on  games. That's why Tiger players are continually overlooked even during our premiership years  ::). It's still a disgrace that Floss has never been AA.

The selectors didn't care about who played in what actual position either. Wingmen have once again become keys to how modern footy is played yet not a single genuine wingman was picked.

Saad would be a better player if he didn’t bounce the footy every two strides, ridiculous!

I’d have Rioli before Saad if I was picking a team.
The club that keeps giving.

Foxfooty.com.au assesses and ranks the ‘unlucky 22’ that didn’t make the 2022 All-Australian team.

1. James Sicily

2. Tom Lynch (Richmond)
Selectors opted for Tom Hawkins, Jeremy Cameron and Charlie Curnow as the key forwards over Lynch, who can consider himself unlucky. He finished second on the Coleman Medal table, but probably would’ve topped it if he’d had a full season as he only managed 18 games. Lynch was ranked first for both contested marks and goals per game.

3. Marcus Bontempelli
4. Jarrod Witts
5. Tom Barrass
6. Rory Laird
7. Charlie Cameron
8. Angus Brayshaw

9. Daniel Rioli (Richmond)
Was pipped by Adam Saad and Jack Sinclair for a half-back flank gig. Was one of the great stories of Richmond’s season as he continued to reinvent himself as a rebounding defender.

Lynch managed less than 17 games.

One with 62% game time and a hammy, another with 7% game time and a hammy.

Factoring those in he probably would have kicked 75-80 goals had he played all year.
