Malthouse: Are slow Tigers at risk of being overtaken?

Richmond’s midfield isn’t quick, but will two additions add any of the speed they need to improve their ladder position? Or will rivals go past in the fast lane?

There is a difference between being a quick runner and being a quick footballer.

First thing you need to do to be a quick footballer is get the actual football in your hands and get it to a teammate like say Daniel or HRS

Example of a quick footballer = Jack Riewoldt

Malthouse and Sheedy are two of the most over rated football minds in the game. Relics.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Robert Walls on the three person coaching selection panel for Essendon can join the list

Yes Damo, at least Malthouse and Sheedy both had a time post playing where they were relevant
