KMac :lol

Probably should check the goal kicking stats before making a dick of yourself
42 goals and 30 behinds in 146 games...wow, you're right. He is quite clearly a top 5 goal kicker under the highest pressure.

I'll stick with the blokes I named thanks champ

Harry Kane

Haha, Flossy is pretty reliable when he gets a go…
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Short surely top 5?

Not as a set shot I wouldn't think so.

Would like to know KMac's set shot stats from the last 4-5 seasons. I reckon he'd be going a helluva lot better than his overall career average. Super reliable set shot these days

Yup kmac is generally a very reliable set shot for goal especially from the 40m+ distances. The stat above would cover shots from open play I’d think which would bring it down. Could be wrong but that’s just what the ‘eye test’ has told me over the past few seasons or so.

If you can break that down to set shots between 25 and 50m out, you find it's a more accurate.

I can't find recent stats but this site has a breakdown of distance and angle (left side, centre, right side) from round 1, 2018 to round 6, 2021.

https://www.statsinsider.com.au/afl/shot-charting

Kmac's 22 set shots in that timeframe. Very accurate when directly in front within 40m.

Here's Dusty's set shots for that period by the way as a comparison:

Here's a couple more comparisons.

Jack pretty much a dead eye dick within 40m directly in front during that period.

Lynch less so.

Excellent work one-eyed.  Confirms KMac is the most accurate of all those examples from directly in front.

Kmac actually didn't miss a single shot from about that distance and in front.

What a hack haha

All hail One eyed with the facts and stats.

It should go without saying but I am still in awe how good of a set shot dusty is.
