I like Ross the Boss, but hasn't he got some crappy skeleton in a cupboard somewhere that roadblocked his move to Carlton? Some historical stuff will hit the fan if he tries to get back into coaching. St Kilda better be up to fronting that in light Of Clarkson, Fagan, etc.

St Kilda officials met with Ross Lyon again on Tuesday according to the Herald Sun.

According to the report, Saints board members and Lyon spoke in person on Tuesday in hopes of sealing his return to the club.

While it’s believed that Lyon is yet to decide on his future, he looks set to have the opportunity to return to the club he coached between 2007 and 2011 should he choose to do so.

The report also adds that Lyon’s friends have urged him to return to the role if he still has a desire to coach again having been sacked by Fremantle near the end of the 2019 season.

It’s believed new St Kilda director of football Geoff Walsh will next speak with Lyon to discuss the make-up of the club’s football department.

ROSS Lyon is back at St Kilda as senior coach after completing a new four-year deal to return to the club, 11 years after his controversial departure. 

The Saints have called a media conference for 1pm AEDT at RSEA Park, where president Andrew Bassat, CEO Simon Lethlean and Lyon will speak.

Their list is in a far worse shape now than when Lyon took over in his first stint at St Kilda. We know from first-hand experience that trying to relive the past doesn't work. Poor TJ was reduced to literally ripping his hair out in 1986-87.
