The idiot is right

without a forward to help an injury prone Lynch he will always be right.

FFS i saw Soldo in the D50 yesterday so not sure how thats a flag winning approach.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Regardless of wether it’s true or not - I still admire the way Hawthorn have gone about their rebuild.
They play a real exciting brand of attacking football.

In a perfect world, we wouldn’t be playing two “ past their prime “ champions….but it is what it is .

I hate Corn, but he's probably right on this one. Hawks will be a very good side in a year or two.

He’s whole argument was that hawks are a younger, less experienced side. If you take out cotch and jack who were two of our worse performers on the day, is there really that significant of an age/experience difference.

Also kept harping on about what a great coaching performance it was by Sam Mitchell. I’m sorry but if you give up a 5 goal lead at 3QT but your performance is anything but great.

We ruined his 300th. And knocked out his beloved power in PF 2020. Two matches which is Quite possibly one of my favourite football memories outside GF wins

Hawks in line for pick 3 this year too.

Good mix of young players, KPPs, a leader like Sicily who I rate super highly.

They will indeed be a tough side for us to beat over the coming few years unless we land a Ben King for example.

By the end of this season Hawks won’t have played finals for 5 seasons. They are currently third last and have won 5 games all year. Not sure what all the fuss is about, they don’t have much in terms of top end talent. Their best player is still by far siciliy who will be 29 before a ball is bounced next season.

Cornes is full of 💩.. take out Sicily or he gets injured or suspended, the Hawks entire game plan is shot. Without Sicily nothing works for them

Impey, Wingard, Amon, Sicily, Frost are all pushing 30

They're at least 3-4 years away so I say no

  • Richmond, Premiers 2017.2019.2020
Gale has revolutionised the club and it’s not the basket case it once was. He has good people that know what they’re doing.

Can Blair get us some good players that gets us in the premiership window again? It’s not an easy task but I think he can.

Plus Richmond supporters aren’t fickle like most supporters in all the AFL.
We won’t abandon the club like the capricious hawks mob have.
We haven’t cheated like some other clubs have ie. Blues Bombers Demons Crows Eagles

So there will be no reason why we can’t be challenging again in the next 5 years.
The club that keeps giving.
