Jack gets 3 injections in his groin and 3 injections in one of his pectorals before every game. I am pretty sure he is just standing up for RFC.
In spite of that he has kicked 30 goals, if Lynch was running around he probably would have kicked more.
Just saying….

He said he was considering retiring but though we had tilt at the premiership with the recruitment of Hopper and TT
He may change his mind but I’d put my money in him call it a day

Hard decisions like this need to be made football department needs to hardened up.

they are doing a great job, footy cap tax matters dont you know this?

never mind the fact we now go from a coach who we paid 1 million to one thats probably on 300k. no biggy keep things as they are Luke is doing great as is Morris

Not sure if you are suggesting the current interim coach didn't get any sort of increase in pay when he took over or a new senior coach is going to get paid around $300k a year either way it is bizarre thing to suggest

And before you take one of your standard cheapshots at me about the soft cap. I've already posted that there will be extra money available in the cap next year with Dimma off the books and the tiny increase that HQ will announce

Genuine question regarding Hardwick and Mini 2023 wages.

We communicated that Hardwick would get paid out. Mini contract gets increased? Would seem odd to have unused space in soft cap to do this? Or did we get AFL approval for Hardwick contact pay out to be outside the cap?
Go Tigers!

Agree with the sentiments. He thought like a lot in the club ( buggered if i know why) that Taranto and Hopper would fix everything.

I think he will retire but im probably one of few who hopes he doesnt. We don't have any up to speed key fwds outside of Jack and Tom.
As long as we prioritise playing maybe a mature recruit if we can get one or prioritise getting as many games as possible into a kid like Bradtke   then i think for next year he would make for  great depth and also make for a great mentor.
Atm its not as if he is keeping kids out of the team we just refuse to play them alongside him. Most likely any kid we draft will not be ready for Afl as well.

If we cop injuries next year he would be a handy bloke to bring in IF we have some kids or we manage to get a mature recruit.
