Next up is Bolton.

Shai in his seventh year of AFL played in all 23 games to take his career tally to 113. Statistically, 2023 was arguably his best return aside from his number of goals (31 down from 43 in 2022). For the first time in his career, Bolton averaged more than 20 possessions, 4 clearances, and more than 5 inside 50s per game for the season.

I gave him a 6. This sounds harsh but given his potential and talent I thought he under performed. Didn’t do the basics a lot of the time and while he would appear in flashes wasn’t dominating enough for long enough to really make 2023 memorable.

Leaves so many goals on the table with his impulsive, round the corner kicking style.  Makes me want to tear my hair out .

He could be a 40 goal a year midfielder.

Exactly the same, but gee he is an excitement machine, just need him to be more consistent.
Maybe has been unsettled by Hardwick leaving??
