Terry Wallace post-match interview

* We've broken new ground a few times this year but we don't get excited because those hoodoos have been there due to us being pretty ordinary in the past.

* We can go into the next 4 weeks against top 8 sides with confidence. We're looking for a improving graph. We've won 8 of our last 11.

* Done fairly well interstate this year. One to go which will make it 6 in 16.

* It was a tough game (Foley split over his eye after the game) but the sting went out of the game in the end. We were able to control the momentum of the game once we were 5-6 goals in front. Terry said he doesn't like leaving the door open to other teams on their home turf so we shut the game down.

* Simmo is premier ruckman in the comp in Terry's opinion. Tonight was up with his usual high standard this year. Lade has also been very good.

* We identified the key players to Port's resurgence over the past month and were able to shut them down. Johnson lead the way shutting Shaun Burgoyne who has been one of the best players in the comp the last 6 weeks.

* Polo very underrated as he is a young kid. Was meant to take Peter Burgoyne but once he went off with a hammy we were able to use him elsewhere.
