Wallace said realistically the Tigers needed their full side up and running to challenge for a finals berth but said the injuries to key players had enabled the club's youngsters to get some valuable games under their belt.

"But as far as our ladder position it (the injuries to senior players) has been a little bit costly in some respects."

Sounds like Terry believes the finals are gone.

I hope not. I really believe that we could finish in the eight if things fall our way.

Ive always maintained that i hope we finish the year with wins regardless of where we finish on the ladder. This to me is more imperitive as it sets up a positive pre-season and bucks the trend of falling into a heap towards the end of the season.
