AFL got what they wanted with interstate teams winning, but ....

... this finals series is oh so boring  :sleep
Fancy 2 weeks running no finals being played in Melbourne in September.
This city is dead and buried when it comes to footy.
We don't count any more
Lose us Demetriou and you officially stuff this game up!

How can we change it?
Winning, I guess, but how come we play under the same rules as the interstate clubs, yet we're falling way behind them?

Where's the tribal warfare??

I'm hating this  :banghead

Maybe Telstra stadium is like Waverley or there were too many theatre-goers who only cheered when a Swans goal was kicked but the crowd atmosphere was dead tonight in the first half watching it on the tv.

Good on the Swans though. Just a awesome unrelentling pressure side. Up to the Tiges (stuff the other Vic sides) to get to the level where they can play tough unforgiving skillful footy. 16th in 1%ers and tackles means we have a long way to go.

The cycle will soon turn. Just remember the rapid falloff of Port and Brissy. Swans and Crows are at midnight so it's unlikely they will still be top 4 by the time we are ready to challenge.
