So if we do an unpopular trade how many calls will the girls at Reception get that will be uncalled for and how many unhelpful messages will be left on the answering machines lol

Can see the manure truck making its way up the highway know. On to the freeway, through the tunnel, off at the punt road exit and turning left into the car park ::)

It depends on whom we trade. They may get flowers and chocolates from some if it was #32 lol.

If the club did something completely stupid at the trade table then it would only have itself to blame but if there is reason to the trade(s) despite the unpopularity then the club has to back itself and sell its message. Similar to keeping Spud on until the end of his contract. Short term pain and anger for long term gain.

I hope it's just rubbish speculation in the media but if we are stupid enough to offer our second pick for Polak as well the club deserves to be criticised :banghead.

I have never ever in my life ever abused anyone on the phone, except once for an indian guy who called during dinner when i was having a souvlaki and he wanted to flog me a telstra deal. Its not the girls fault and people shouldnt be ringing. I actually feel very sorry for them.

Here's a sure fire way of reducing your marketing calls....

Whatever they're selling tell them that you either already have it or you do it as your profession for their opposition.

Need life insurance???............I am a life insurance consultant
Need financial advice???.............I am an financial planner by trade.

I guarantee you, this technique will reduce the ammount of calls you get substantially as they flag you as competitor in their database. We went from 7 calls a day to now 1 a month if we're lucky.

Don't know if this will work for the RFC though.  :lol
