Now that we've seen the draw, how many games will we win in 2007?

I have attempted to rank the games we have in terms of easiest to hardest (is there such a thing as an easy game?)

Rd 1 Carlton MCG
Rd 9 Essendon MCG
Rd 21 Essendon MCG
Rd 16 Port_Adelaide MCG
Rd 10 Brisbane Lions Telstra_Dome
Rd 15 Hawthorn MCG
Rd 14 Kangaroos Telstra_Dome
Rd 6 Geelong Telstra_Dome
Rd 19 Collingwood MCG
Rd 3 Collingwood MCG
(We should look at cementing these 10.  Best Case Scenario 10 wins.  Worst case 6 wins 4 losses)

Rd 7 Port_Adelaide AAMI_Stadium
Rd 4 Western_Bulldogs MCG
Rd 22 St_Kilda MCG
Rd 2 Sydney MCG
Rd 18 Geelong Skilled_Stadium
Rd 12 Melbourne MCG
Rd 17 Sydney SCG
Rd 13 St_Kilda Telstra_Dome

(Our crunch games.  8 games against some decent opposition potentially out of our comfort zone.  Best case 5 wins 3 losses.  Worst 2 wins, 6 losses.   These proved to be 5 of our worst losses in 2006, but 3 of our best performances)

Rd 8 Adelaide AAMI_Stadium
Rd 11 Fremantle Subiaco
Rd 5 West Coast MCG
Rd 20 West Coast Subiaco

(The really difficult 4.  It all depends on our run of injuries and form of course, but best case scenario? 1 win 3 losses, worst case 4 losses)

I guess that puts us in best case 16 wins and worse case 8 wins.  Thats why I think we will finish on about 12 wins.

next season terry must be really switched on and really drum into th eplayers that no winable game should be a loss ala hawks and freo this season.
next more than ever we have to win our 10 or so winable games and win our 3-5 shock wins ala cats in geelong, port at home and adel and dome this season.
its gonna be tuff but if bob can build it, we can do it! even though the afl is trying to "fix" it!

If we finish with 13 wins will make the Eight. Every year you normally find two sides fall out of the Eight from the previous year and one of the top 4 dip. Crows, Pies, Dees and Saints look suss.

1 Carlton MCG Away W
2 Sydney MCG Home 50/50 - will test if our midfield has improved. We need to learn to win our home games against interstate sides too
3 Collingwood MCG Away W - they're still crap  ;D
4 Bulldogs MCG Home 50/50 - same as the swans game.
5 West Coast MCG Home 40/60 - we didn't care in round 22 so I'm not writing this one off as we're at home. Going to be tough but a new year and another preseason under the belts and who knows.
6 Geelong  Dome Home 50/50 - a joke we play our home game at their home ground  ::)
7 Port Adelaide AAMI Away 50/50 - Port will be better next year especially at AMII
8 Adelaide AAMI Away L - six day break b/w travelling twice
9 Essendon MCG Home W
10 Brisbane Dome Home W
11 Fremantle Subiaco Away L
12 Melbourne MCG Home 50/50 - still don't rate the Dees but midyear they are usually peaking
13 St. Kilda Dome Away L - our bogey side
14 Kangaroos Dome Home 50/50 - once again playing our home game at their home ground  ::)
15 Hawthorn MCG Away 50/50 - usually we give them a start then it depends if we can reel them in
16 Port Adelaide MCG Home W
17 Sydney SCG Away L - a hiding again if we don't play KISS down th guts footy at the SCG
18 Geelong Skilled Away 50/50 - Plough coaches well at Pussyland
19 Collingwood MCG Home W
20 West Coast Subiaco Away L
21 Essendon MCG Away W - danger game though as it'll probably be Hird's final game
22 St. Kilda MCG Home L

Worst Case: 8 wins
Best Case: 14 wins

So I'll go with 11 wins  :-\.
