SPAM emails
« on: October 28, 2006, 09:33:20 AM »
I am getting a huge amount of SPAM emails at the moment. Anywhere from 6-10 a day, and it is getting really annoying.

They are mainly about the stockmarket or the price of pills like Viagra  ;D. MJS i can send you the viagra ones if you are interested  :lol

Does anyone know the best way to stop these things coming through?

Is there any programs around which can help with this?

Any advice welcome

Since I've changed to Trend Micro from Norton I'm getting about 25 a day  :banghead
Puts in a spam folder the majority of them, but lots don't get filtered.
When you find out Bully, let me know

We have been getting heaps of spam at work recently. Some days there's up to 15 of them  :scream. The problem in our case seems to be they are forwarded from one email account to another so even though we have spam filters the forwarded ones still get through  :-\.

All my spam emails go to my Junk Mail folder in Outlook and then I just delete them.  Might have to change your settings Moi.
