From yesterday's Herald-Sun Pulse section:
ROCK, paper, scissors is taking over football.
At Richmond training yesterday, defender Darren Gaspar (left) and Patrick Bowden played a game to decide which of them had dropped the ball during a marking drill.
Judging from his style, Bowden is obviously new to RPS.
There are now suggestions that umpires should come together with offending players and play RPS to decide the outcome of disputed hands-in-the-back decisions. Ump wins and the call stands. Player wins and the free is reversed.
Couldn't be any more confusing than what's going on at the moment.
