I don’t know if this has been reported, but Danny Sipthorp has been seriously ill over the last few weeks. He was in a critical condition in hospital after a simple incident at the footy. He cut his finger, and “allegedly” contaminated water was poured over it resulting in infection.
Apparently, it was touch and go for a while, and fortunately he has come through. He has lost the finger as a result.
I’m not completely au fait about what actually happened, but I know he is on the mend, and my best wishes go to him and his family, and look forward to hearing some good news on how he’s travelling in the future.
