Kingsley sent for scans after aggravating injury

Richmond will learn today the extent of an ankle injury sustained by recruit Kent Kingsley.

Kingsley, who jarred the ankle last week and thus was spared from tomorrow's NAB Cup clash against his old team, Geelong, aggravated the injury during a training session yesterday.

Richmond football manager Paul Armstrong said the club did not believe the injury was serious, but confirmed Kingsley was having precautionary scans.

The Tigers recruited Kingsley from Geelong, with pick No. 6 in the pre-season draft.
