Trade week expectations?

What are you ppls expectations for next week's trade period?

Would you be disappointed if the club was fairly inactive and just kept hold of our current picks?

We need a ruckman.

Agreed, we need a ruckman who can play now. I'd love to see us pick up either Cam Wood through a trade, or Brad Moran through a trade or PSD.

I'm open to trading pick 2 down for a top 6 pick and a quality young player, but only if the deal is one majorly in our favour.

Overall though my expectations are pretty low, would be no surprise to see us not feature at all. I see Judd going to Carlton because Collingwood are far too stingy at trade time and I can't see them getting the deal done.

Best reality case in my mind is that we get a cheap trade for someone like Moran who is out of contract then still have the PSD pick to grab another decent player.

All the talk about Collingwood's tight fisted trading record is in the past. No one like Judd has come up for a trade before and the Collingwood marketing would go to another level with Judd on board. I fully expect them to go hard for Judd and to beat Carlton they need the help of one of the sides with a high draft pick.

I am with Jezza in that I would expect us to be pretty quiet but looking for a trade for a ruckman and then get some one decent with first pick in the PSD.

If Collingwood do come knocking then I expect us to ask for and get the very best deal. If we keep pick 2 we are going to pick up a decent player so if Collingwood wants to play I would expect much more to give up pick 2. If that is the case then why wouldn't Collingwood just deal with West Coast direct

l prefer us to sit back let other clubs come to us & see whats being offered
we control the box seat & could come out way ahead of what is expected

As far as Judd is concerned there will be dirty dealings under the table & l'm sure Twigley will be offered something by each club & both Pratt & Eddie have the keys to open the world to a young couple its exactly what Judd always wanted
l been told Collingwood have Judd & Twigley well looked after for the future & some players down at skunksville are not happy
