« on: April 18, 2007, 05:24:25 PM »
just saw fosx sports news, i know its not a richmond issue but stevens reinjured his neck v the tigers in rnd 1

fox news said he is heading up for more tests in sydney and will most likely miss the yr and possible be forced to retire ala johns in the nrl

if so, its a shame and wont bag him cos karma stinks and always bites you in the butt cheeks

You hate to see any footballer's career threatened or ended by injury. Good luck to him.

They said on SEN earlier today that Stevens was flying up as a result of what happened to Johns; not that he was in the same boat yet. He could miss a year though.

That's awful.  Not that I particularly liked Stevens but you don't wish that on anyone.  Better to retire though than become a quadriplegic.

Well doesn't that put a bit of egg on the face of G Lyon & Co on Footy Classified who laughed at and made fun of Ch7 for reporting this on Monday night

Bad luck for Stevens

LOL. Also makes a mockery of Mike's comparison article.

Best of luck to Stevens.
