Andy Collins on SEN

* 18 day break between games. Good chance to reflect for our young guys.

* We have a male and female Stawell gift winners etc as our fitness staff.

* Terry gets excited watching Coburg.

* Neville - Collins would pay the $25,000 to get him onto an AFL list. Said it's embarrassing. Intelligent brain and strength around the footy. When he was 18-19 he didn't have the speed or physique that recruiters are after. Now done two AFL preseasons at Richmond and St Kilda. He might not be as athletic as some but is a superior footballer a la Sam Mitchell.

* King - Obviously made it from Coburg to Richmond list to now in the Richmond side. Terry excited by his progression.

* So far superceded expectations as Coburg lost most of their senior players over summer. Exciting talented youngsters. Caruso, Anderson, etc.

* Andy Collins coach in North vs South VFL game. Showcase game where recruiters pick out players they want to look out. Hopes a 4-5 Coburg guys get a run.

* Thursfield - Has played 2 ressie games in his comeback. Embarrassed by his first game and questioned his ability but outstanding in his second. Play ressies this weekend then progress to Coburg seniors and Richmond. Reckons Thursty will be back in 3 weeks.

* Meyer, Patto, Polo, Jack and White - all 5 are talented.

Jack - Doing it easy at VFL level. Will play AFL very soon.

Patto - awkward size that will mature late. More suited to forward line, workhorse who continues to hit up a la Nick Holland. 2 years away at least.

Polo - Outstanding footballer. Outstanding on the weekend. Coming back after being dropped by Richmond and winning the Anzac Day medal showed Dean's ability.

White - one of the fitess players going around in the AFL for his age. Up there with Shane Crawford.

I think he forgot to say something about Danny.
