David Norman

* 150 die-hard supporters with him.

* Coach is king of the rebound so David believes in victory today.

* Mentioned 3-year old Jack Dyer Norman which got a laugh.

* Believes in the kids and the way we are heading. Has no doubt we will win a flag in few years time.

* Agreed with the Gas decison. No player should be a walk up start for any position. Gas didn't like that and retired.

* We have the most fanatical supporters. Singing behind the goals last week in the last quarter.

* Banner - " Today you have the honour of wearing the Richmond guernsey. Wear it with pride"

Wallace's interview

* Plenty of periphery stuff this week that needed to be delt with and people wanted answers.

* Bare minimum today - to win. Non -negotiables - be competitive.

* No plan to flood. Different circumstances last year against Adelaide. Got to let the boys play after last week.

* Port's perspective off last week - Knows as a opposition coach you don't get any value from watching a game where you're opponent got thrashed the week before.

* One game ripped the heart out of the positive talk. We internally can't let that affect how we judge ourselves and where we are heading.

* Goalkicking reasonable. Field kicking - down to more overuse of the footy and putting more pressure on themselves than we should. Good sides don't do that. They hit someone running into space.

* Leadership group hampered - Brown hasn't played, Cogs hasn't played, Simmo 2 games underdone, Sugar last 4 weeks with a broken hand, Newman coming back from a broken leg. Only Joel is 100%. This places too much pressure on the young guys. The kids then have to carry the side instead of cameo roles.

* Shaun Burgoyne needs to be shut down. One of the best players in the comp. Watched how Godfrey played him last week who kept Burgoyne below 10 possessions. Sugar has had success on him last year.

* Polak - starting to play at the level we want. Has naturally ability and good hands. Fitness aspect wasn't there when he first arrived.

* We want to be able to judge ourselves on what we do this week. Message this week is "Be Competitive!".
