Players from all clubs are kicking badly this year has no-one noticed

simple answer is the game has got too fast that is making the players more fatigued after running and contesting so hard that the legs of players are so weary they are kicking badly

gee not hard to work that out if your a former footballer

So many champion players are sucumbing to leg injuries WHY is because the game is too fast & the human body cannot take that type of battering

FATIGUE is the contributer to the way the game is turning ugly & is also the contributer to bad umpiring

monk u may have  point, but u rarely see players like boomer harvey, kerr, black, voss(when he played) , lloyd, judd, cousins, the burgoynes, the cornes' etc kick bad under fatigue

the list goes on

if u r fit , fatigue is not an issue, the game is played 90% above the shoulders

Let's see Jordan Lewis misses a sitter from near to dead in front and probably costs his team the game and that was clearly fatigue.

TM has a very valid point.

35-40 degree angle.  Certainly wasnt near dead in front.

But yes, should've nailed it regardless as he only kicked from about 25-30.

fatigue is a huge factor matey X
just look how fatigued you are are after you played with your little dickybird  :whistle  ;D
alot has to do with conditioning staff & the way you are coached from youth & the ammount of extra work the player himself does out of football is too who will fatigue quicker as you would know yourself being a personal trainer
a good player will rest over the summer in his spare time but most champions opt for other sports like soccer, cricket, basketball, tennis, running etc which is why there are alot of champions

were not champions cause were always at the bar on weekends  :cheers but l tried  ;D

yep cannot avoid the fact that Richo strength has never been putting the ball through the big sticks consistently

Richo would be one of the most fatigued players if the league at 105kg & his height
l bet there aint many on here that could even run a 80 metres sprint without falling to the ground after it blowing like you run 2 hours without having to kick a ball 30 metres straight
Richo does more running than most cause the players aint honoring his leads & work rate & the coach is indirective of how football is played & rather introduce basketball tactics
Richo is one of the best contested marks in the AFL & runs the most out of any Full Forward in the AFL & he sets up alot of goals too
but he cant be that bad his kicked 700+ goals & is most times in the top 5 best players in the team
Lloyd only has 800+ goals is he pooh too
Fevola has his bad days also yet Tigers supporters want him to replace Richo no thanks on the attitude badboy
being at games you can see just how much the big fella puts in & his is no doubt a real champion if he didnot break that knee in Sydney in 1995 he would have been better & had 800+ goals around the same Lloyd has who has had premiership players giving it to him & brownlow medalists in Hird & Wanganeen

Watch next season there be no tanking going on from any club as they change the draft procedure l bet RFC be a strong contender for finals

Although Richo's goalkicking has been hit and miss for most of his career, the 30 second rule means all forwards can't have a breather before taking their shot.

Just saying forwards have to now take their shot quickly (within 30 seconds). It's not like before where Lloyd would spend 2-3 minutes throwing grass up in the air, pulling up his socks, etc... to regain his breath before kicking a goal.
