Ins and Outs v Bulldogs
« on: May 13, 2004, 02:04:10 PM »
IMO the only change would be -

In - Pin Ball Fleming
Out - Sloth Weller

I'd like to see Tuck get a run but for some reason he is not in the mix..........don't know why as his form at Coburg has been OK..........nothing special but neither was Bowden's.

Gaspar has been a disgrace and an embarrassment..........he needs a run at Coburg.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

I think you might be spot on there in the changes Harry although I'm not so sure about having both Fleming and Fletcher in the same side as they basically do the same negating role. Bowden came in for Fleming last week but I don't think he'll make way as he did put his body on the line against Sydney. We need to encourage more of that in Joel.

With Gas it looks like we are playing and waiting for him to get back to where he was before he did his knee no matter how little influence and gametime he gets. He's mostly been picked the last few weeks as a back-up defender but who is played across HF when someone needs a rest. If we are going to play him off the bench then he might as well be playing a full game at Coburg.

I haven't seen Tuck play in the VFL so far but he was impressive in our intra-game in Feb. Not sure why he isn't getting at least a try at senior level.

Peggy Flemming - in
Bowden - out.
The message wasn't loud enough last week as we saw Joeline back in the 1s
without having really achieved anything in the VFL.
Bowdens brother will tear him apart if he plays this week.

Gasper should heve never been considered until round 12
as I stated at xmas time.
Thats just bad injury management on behalf of the club

Funny how it took Peter Larkin to comment on Cogs' groin
just before the egg heads at Punt road decide he shouldn't be playing.

Yeah l reckon Fleming will play, but he isn't really adding any skill, poise or dimention to the side...a bit of buffeting can only get you so far.Id prefer to see a ball carrier like Tuck given his go.
Weller will miss out and no doubt Bowden will remain...and fortunately so.
Drink,Drugs and Shagging models.
The rest l just wasted.

I am hoping for:

Out: Gaspar, Bowden
In: Morrison, Fleming

Give Gas a run in the seconds to get some fitness, form and confidence. The backline looked alot stronger and more settled when he was on the pine last week against the Swans. I just thought that the rest of the backline were able to concentrate on thier opponents rather than also worrying about covering for Gas when he was out of postion etc.

Playing him in the forward line in spurts isn't the answer either.

As for Joel - I said last week it was the wrong decision to play him. Granted his attack at the footy was a lot better last week but it doesn't mean that is what we are going to get this week. Which wont matter too much if he plays on his brother - or should that be if he is dancing with his sister :-\ ;D

LMFAOOOOOO@the bowden sisters. That's part 2 to the Banger sisters.

Out: Gasper, Weller
In: Fleming, Morrison

Bowden should be arsed to the VFL for a month if he doesn't show some real commitment over the next couple of weeks.
