Adam Gilchrist calls it a day in all forms of cricket

AUSTRALIAN wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist tonight announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

Gilly is 36 but still it's a surprise to hear he is retiring straight after this test and not playing out the summer. Whether he's been pushed or he's just sick of the hounding he is copping from the media lately, farewell Gilly and thanks for the memories :clapping  :bow.

Earlier reports had him retiring after this test but Gilly will play out the one-dayers.
