Cogs - a couple of weeks away. Still finding his feet. Played him against Geelong to see where he was at.

Polo - coming back from a shoulder. Not 100% yet with his tackling.

Only a practice match but good to see Edwards, Connors and Collo in the bests. Tivs is much maligned but at least he performs and doesn't sulk when sent back to the Burgers unlike some former senior players.

Interesting to see what WP and TFL say in their match reports when they get on the site. How did our talls do - Jack and Luke?

If Collard can get fit he could be a good find in a few years time. Obviously knows where the big sticks are.

Gourdis playing across HB according to WP but hasn't really noticed him much today.

Didn't look like there were any further goals to Collard. Gazzo got them instead.

Interesting to see what WP and TFL say in their match reports when they get on the site. How did our talls do - Jack and Luke?

Luke - I reckon you can tell he has missed alot of pre-season stuff. He was servicable. Got better as the game went on. Got more confidence overhead.

Jack - Would be interested in others thoughts here but I worry about his lack of speed on the lead. All marking attempts on the lead ended up as contests. Also (again just MO) but I reckon needs to work on the 1%ers.

Rance - in the ressies I was really impressed, first time I'd really seen him play. Very strong hands and good footy brain.

Gourdis - pleasant surprise (first time I've seen him too ;D). Got better as the game went on. Good signs but will take some time

Morton - interestingly they played him on the FWD line in the 1st qtr and then he was switched to defence in the 2nd. Was good but tappered off in the 2nd half I thought.

Agree with that - he missed a couple of tackles that he'd normally nail

Edwards - now that Sugar has "relieved" himself of the North game ;D - bring in Edwards NOW

Collard - ready made "crumber" natural goal kicker.... needs to get fitter

Thanks for the report WP  :cheers.

Jack needs to get hold of Foley's sprint training program. Axel was able to boost his pace.

Any reason Rance isn't in the Coburg seniors? fitness?
