Let's stick to developing our own players for a change.
I mean we bag our players who are 20-21 year olds for not coming on as fast as we would like yet think picking up a 22 year old who's played only a dozen games is a good pick up ???. Apart from Selwood hardly any of Geelong's current U23's have proven themselves yet. Blake is second ruck, Hawkins isn't far away, Prismall looks good and I haven't included Nathan Ablett but for the rest who knows.
Mackie and Egan aren't that young either. Egan's 24 and injured while Mackie is 23.
