To my eye, we’re giving up 3 picks in the draft for Baker.
Didn’t freo offer 10,11 and 18 for Bakes and Bolton after previously offering 10,18 for Bolton.
Why would we do that?

What do u mean? We got 1 pick from west coast for baker as we would if he went to freo. You can’t force a player to go somewhere they don’t want and he wanted west coast who gave us pick 14 which is a win in my book.

Now it’s just a matter of who blinks first btw us and freo for Bolton. Do they give us 10&11 like we want or do we cave and accept 10&18. If it’s the latter then at best u can say not dealing baker to freo cost is 3 places (difference btw 11 and 14), if it’s the former then we’ve come out 4 places bettter.

Anyway good luck to bakes, a rookie pick we turned into a 2 time premiership player and pick 14 return to boot.

One of my fav players once he broke into the team, would always crack in and out his body on the line. Sucks that he’s decided to leave but can’t fault a guy for wanting to go back to his home state.

"It was a tough year mentally, I felt at times I was a bit distracted and had to check myself and remember that I was still playing for Richmond. I didn't buy out, but I did get distracted at times. It did wear me down a bit, but I love the club. I absolutely love Richmond. I loved every moment of being there it was just the circumstances of where it is in the country is why I wanted to leave."

Good luck to him. Glad to get pick 14 for him. Need to really use the high draft picks well.

We should deal with eagles for pick 10 that we get from freo as pay back for being flogs.

Eagles get 10. B Allan
Freo get 11
We get 12 and a sweetener for this draft or next years  from eagles.  :shh

I suspect freo wont cough up pick 11 now.

Dont think Allen is a be all end all scenario for them Frankie.
They did offer 10,11 and 18 for Bolton and Baker after all.

We got 14 for Baker slight overs on the original pick 15 thru 18 range that was originally suggested.

I think we can get 10,11, and 18 for Bolton and 14. Got that from another site and it makes sense if we want to get the deal over the line. We get the picks we want 10 and 11 with a 4 pick slide 14 to 18.Sort of middle ground on what both clubs want concerning 11 and 18.

Reckon we will get picks 6, and 23 which was suggested right at the start for Rioli and a pick. Word has it they want an early 30s pick.

Things have fallen into place with the exception of including pock 32 in the brisvegas deal boy we lost out on that one imo.

Saw Liam at my local IGA the other day- looks like he’s settling into Perth nicely.

Despite leaving Richmond in the off-season, Baker admitted he couldn’t help but get caught up in the emotion of watching his old side last Thursday night.

The Tigers came from 41 points down to beat the Blues against all odds and the two-time premiership player was thrilled to see his former teammates perform so well.

“I was a bit neutral watching the game in the first half, but as soon as they started coming, I was far from neutral,” he said.

“I was up and about on the couch and trying to get the boys over the line.

“They were amazing, good on them.

“I messaged ‘Shorty’ (Jayden Short) and ‘Kaps’ (Kamdyn McIntosh) as I always do and all the other boys.

“At the end of the game I was still up and about, it was good to see.

“Pretty much everyone didn’t give them a chance so I’m sure they’ll be buzzing around the club this week.”

stuff off dog

Your “effort” last year was a disgrace

Watch our premierships in a few years and assume the foetal position

Side note - your performance on Jack Dyer night won’t be forgotten

And Jack/Shai can stuff off as well

Daniel gets a pass

Agreed Damo. We’ve moved on from you, so…
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Really don't care what Liam thinks or says TBBH

End of the day the 4 of them walked out on the Club

And I know it's very early days but this could end up being another "Lids moment". In the long term we are better off that they walked out

Yeah the efforts were telling.

Rioli is the one that hurts me the most.

Baker a bit.

Graham and Bolton not really at all.

Looking at our players last week I think there's lot to be excited about and I reckon those other 4 guys have already peaked.
