Summary

* A caller txted Christian to request they ask Plough about the 1983 GF - miraculously recovering after Leigh Matthew took the shot for goal for him.
Terry said he got belted by Steve Carey in a forward pocket and had a bit of blurred vision. Matthews ran across to take the kick a kick the goal. Laughs. Terry said the next time he got the ball he missed his foot as he tried to kicked it so he was still a bit concussed.

* Lake's kick and injury feign?
Totally blown out of proportion. After the game it was all tongue in cheek and we were having a bit of a laugh about it. He heard one of the news services saying we were seething behind scenes which couldn't be further from truth. Joked about Gilbee nearly getting a stitch running the length of the ground to take the kick. No dramas about it as far as we're concerned.

* What went wrong in that last quarter. Gave up handy leads twice?
 Yes we did but it was the nature of the game all day. They had the opportunity to break away early. Momentum swings and changes throughout a game all the time. About 4 or 5 times a game. Saying that when you are 19 points up with 3.5 minutes to play you shouldn't lose a game a footy. Some people may say we pulled the trigger too early or went too defensive but when you analyse the tape deepely we made 4 horrible errors of judgement plus when the game was slowed down marginly our blokes didn't have enough movement to offer up opportunities for the guy with the ball. Agreed with Christian that that then forced our defenders to go long when we didn't want that. It's something you look at in the review process so that it doesn't happen again.

* We were 500 games down on experience on Sunday. Most of the guys in our backline - Thursty, Moore, McGuane and King - are only around 25 games into an AFL career. So you're going to get some errors and mistakes but he rather look at the upside.

* Another caller txted you should continue to attack as that got you into a winning position rather than try to save the game.
Plough said there's got to be a point in time where you say that we've got a big enough lead that if we play any sort of reasonable footy we won't give the opposition a chance of winning the game. Heard Neil Craig talking about his game where they wound down the clock. They did it successfully and didn't give Freo a sniff. Our biggest mistake was you've got to get the ball out of the defensive area first so you then have the option to go back, forward or sideways and it's difficult for the opposition to man-up. We instead got concertinaed and boxed in our defence.

* This week?
Hawthorn are playing fantastic footy and he thinks everyone agrees they are heir apparent behind Geelong. When you look at our run we've played a undefeated Bulldogs, this week we've got a undefeated Hawthorn and in a fortnight's time a undefeated Geelong. Although you'd like to be playing the bottom sides and racking up the wins, it good timing for us to pit ourselves against  these top sides when we are in reasonable shape. Find out how our young players are progressing.

* Who is going to play on Franklin?
Joked about bringing over Michael Jordan (laughs). He's a magnificent athlete. Noticed about all the great players in the past they've have been great because of their skill and toughness but Buddy is also just totally superior to players he is playing on. Never really seen that before in a player. Got opponents beat just through sheer athleticism. So that's something we've really got to work on. Also noticed in the Hawks' Freo game that all the defenders went to Buddy and the other forwards like Roughead chimed in. Same thing happened to us last year when Roughead had 4 goals by half-time.  So you've got to have a balance.

* Christian said I guess you're hoping to limit the supply although you can't stop it completely. Wallace agreed. You would think they would have 50 inside 50s. Good day 60.

* Christian said Thursty on Buddy?
Kel Moore also as he did a terrific job on Pavlich. Depends on where Franklin plays. If close to goal then Will if roving across HF then Moore who's our CHB as such. Due to his athleticism you may at times have to give him a couple of different opponents to outrun a single player.

* Andrea asked if we will see more of Richo on the wing?
It has freed him up. There's two sides to it. Richo now realises how hard midfielders work. Always a hard working forward himself but on Sunday was the first time he's seen Richo call for a rest (laughs). On the other side he never realised how much freedom midfielders get and he can get hold of some easy footy. Been over a decade since he's got that. A chance to look at other forwards. Polak has had a reasonable fortnight. Riewoldt's been terrific. So some other targets to go to.

* Send off rule?
 Doesn't see the necessity for it over one incident in a decade.

* Bounce?
Start the quarters with a bounce as tradition but throw it up otherwise. A bad bounce especially should be recalled.

* Free Agency?
 Haven't really thought about much to be honest. Would hate to see the competition end up like the EPL with just 2-3 teams able to win it.

* Tool of the Week?
... (laughs) ... Matty White rang him up to tell him while he was watching the Hawthorn game. Terry said he joked in the box that with us being in a winning position it was the first time we could relax and enjoy this and it turns out it's a bloke. Andrea said was he any good and Plough said ah no.
