Thinking they're close to a premiership, they top up with

Johnson
Solomon
Tarrant

Doesn't work does it?

Harvey - will be lucky to see out 2 years the way things are going.

Sadly he seems to be following the methods of his mentor - topping up with players pas tthier used by date  :rollin

We can bag that regime ad nauseum because it's true.
But it's also scary!  ;)

Tommy Hafey's fault.  Sheeds played in a regime where we got players from every other club:  McGhie, McClure, Andrews, Sproule, etc etc etc.  No wonder he thought it was a magic elixir.  Doesn't work in this era though.

The difference is Hafey usually got his recycled players cheap from struggling sides of the time and added them to a 2-times premiership core. The only time we gave up a top player in exchange was the Barrot-Stewart swap. Freo gives away all their picks for over the hill duds to add to their underachieving overrated home grown duds. Yep very Spud like (and Geischen like). Better them than us  :thumbsup.
