Power v Tigers as it happens
7:14:22 AM Fri 21 May, 2004
Sportal/exclusive to afl.com.au

Just because Saturday night’s Port Adelaide-Richmond clash isn’t on free-to-air TV in Victoria or the radio, it doesn’t mean that Tiger fans have to miss all the action.

afl.com.au will keep Tiger fans in Victoria up to speed with all the action from AAMI Stadium as it happens.

The live 5AA radio broadcast is free to all users, as are the real-time scores and statistics. And within a few minutes of the end of each quarter, Big Pond subscribers can watch highlights of the quarter just completed at the AFL Game Day Newsdesk. The best marks, goals and turning points will be there for all Tiger fans to see and hopefully enjoy.

And of course, the concise and accurate afl.com.au match report will be published to the website within a few minutes of the final siren, recounting all the news from the match, with a complete list of goalkickers, best players and injuries.

I dunno what would be better, not listening to the game at all or listening to those one-eyed so called commentators at 5AA

We are getting desparate if we have to listen to the biased lot over there  :P. Absolute shockers. Basically barrackers doing commentary. Only 6PR in Perth would be worse. We'll be lucky to hear a Richmond player called by his name apart from probably Richo as they know who he is.

Beauty.
So now i can see quarter highlights while I listen to it
on the net
.
Now youre talking.

About time those fools at the AFL website began using
bigpond for all its worth.
I rekkon the way it is now theyre using about 40%
of Telstras capable media outlets which is ridiculous
considering how much advertising Bigpond get on the
AFL Site..
Why cant they stream games live.
What bull poo answer do they have for that?

The game is live on Fox Footy. Feel sorry for you guys O/S because those 5AA commentators are the pits. Luckily they'll know who Johnson is. I wonder if they'll call Hilton the ex-Melbourne player as usual? (That was Jeff.)
