We haven't had our crunch game yet

Simmo said so on SEN this morning.

He also said we need to win the next 2 games (Syd, Adel) if we want to play finals.

Simmo was asked the question and he just said no. I thought the same thing X but Simmo didn't say we no longer have it anymore.

Results on the weekend did those outside the top 8 no favours. Although history says one side falls out it's hard to see the current 8 changing. I don't see us making the finals but Simmo is right. We need to win the next 2 tough games to have even a glimmer of a chance and then hope North lose to Brisbane at the Gabba and then Geelong.

At this stage of the year our destiny is in our own hands and if we can get enough hard ball and contested possessions and improve our decision making and skills under pressure it won't matter whether or not we make finals or not or who beats who. You would think though that a win this weekend against the Swans in Sydney would be a huge and significant confidence boost for the boys beating a well credentialled opponent who have inflicted huge losses on us in the last 2 seasons. :thumbsup

Am making my first interstate trip for the RFC this weekend...from what I'm hearing there is quite a large contingent of Tiger supporters going up - Bay 4 is already sold out (which is the bay allocated to the cheersquad, etc...I also know of many who are making the trip...people who don't usually go interstate on a regular basis...

Hopefully there are hoards of the Tiger faithful there to spur on and witness a famous Tiger victory - EAT 'EM ALIVE!!!

Agree my fellow Hellene, the next 2 weeks will make or break our season, with this week set to become the pivotal turning point...time will tell...
