well well well surprise blood/y surprise, schulz dropped.

i could be wrong but someone say he didn't lay any tackles against the saints or were they talking bout someone else
Schulz, Newy, Edwards, Morton and Simmo didn't lay a tackle against the Saints. Of the five, Sarge was the only one with less than 10 disposals.

I think Edwards is very lucky to be playing this week.  His game last week looked like he needed to go back and regain some confidence in the 2's.

Disagree, love what he does without the ball.  Great defensive pressure.  :thumbsup

Kicked 2 goals by reading the play.

THere is no way he deserves to be dropped.

I also like what he does with the ball, I just don't think he has done nearly enough in his last 2 games to keep a spot.  The coaching staff are telling all who will listen that you have to perform to make this side and I reckon Shane would benefit by going back for a couple of weeks to get a dose or 2 of leather poisoning.  Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, I just think he could do with a couple of weeks of being the bully - belting up on the weaker kids.

yeah well for years we have played players because of their reputation or games played.
this is the first year i can remember the tigers having some sort of depth in our team.

schulz has not done enough IMO and he along with Petts should be given the door.

We cant keep everyone and some tough decisions need to be made and these 2 should go for some decent healthy mid range picks.

Nothing wrong in what you are saying Daniel and there certainly could be a case for both names to be tossed around at draft time but the contradiction is in what you say re: depth.  Schulz, Tivendale, Pettifer, Howat, Hyde etc are our depth and just at the moment I don't think this depth is strong enough to trade these types.  It will only take an injury or 2 to expose us (the kids) and we will be back where we were last year.  In another year or 2, sure, but right now it would be a risk to get rid of them (maybe one but not all).
