Alot of us are hurting over the performance of our club, and whilst the 2nd half proved that we need better quality players - and yes we do need to TANK, I dont see the point in us tarnishing our brand further but putting up new nicnames for our club.
Today our 1st half was very good. Cotchin gives us much hope, Deledio continues to do well- but he needs to lose a little bulk and get back some of his break net speed - or atleast use it more, Tambling continues to show patches and Im coming to the conclusion that maybe he is a 3rd or 4th midfielder and not the No 1 or 2 we are hoping for, nevertheless he is a good player who with more support could become a better player.
We need to tank. We need 3 top 20 picks.
Im sorry if this offends, but if our administration do not TANK then they are incompetent. WE CANT AFFORD TO WIN now. Gives us a chance to get 2 out of Natanui, Hurley or Rich, give us a chance to get a Michael Walters.
Our club cant afford to give any pick away inside the top 40 picks.
I support the recruitment of a 200cm+ ruck, but Warnock isnt worth more than 3rd round pick. We should walk away if the price is to high.
Finally, someone needs to show the door to Tivendale, Bowden, Pettifer, Tuck and afew others. We were going so good when Tivendale, Bowden and Pettifer were at Coburg, but as I said last week, when these players play together in our senior 22- we are rooted.
Its not fair on the supporters. The RFC needs to do what it has to to win a flag. We can pinch one down the track- but if we wont TANK then all of us will be on the old age pension before we see anything decent.
