Plough on MMM

* Rapt with Joel over the last month. Great for him to kick the winning goal after all the fuss over the rushed behind saga. He had a season high 7 tackles. Showed the necessary endeavour. He was asked when he was sent back to Coburg if he was playing at the same level of a few years ago and was he getting too conmfotable and he's answered that brilliantly.

* Simmo - Missed him last year. Knne is right now. Up against Otto. Former Richmond man vs his replacemnt. A key battle tonight.

* Tambling - Terry talked about Blingers running the length of the ground to end up getting the footy and passing to Joel. 12 months ago he wouldn't have had that belief he could get on the end of the footy. All part of growing up as a footballer.

Plough will also be on 3aw shortly.

Wallace on 3aw

* Browny out; King in.

* Need to find a spread of goals so Browny out means we need others to step up. We've been a high scoring side winning the ball out of the midfield. It's critical to keep the scoreboard ticking over otherwise you then rely on stopping them from scoring.

* We have always been good at the contested footy but turned it over. Went 1-on-1 as we are still earning but added a few things more lately. Still a weakness that we cough up the footy too much. Terry feels we'll match Geelong in the contested footy but how we go will be based on us not coughing it up.

* Joel will be used at both ends where we see fit like last week.

* Connolly said a big difference this year is having the steal to win the close games. Wallace said personnel makes a big difference - additons of Jordie, Morton, Cotchin, etc. Add to that the oppostion missing players and things can change quickly.

* First 10-12 mins will give a guide on how we're going tonight.

I didn't get all of it as March was on MMM at the same time as Terry was on 3aw.
