Damien Hardwick rumour

BT mentioned today on MMM that he has heard that Damien Hardwick will be senior coach at Richmond as of next season.

Basically just through it out there on the table and didnt say much else.

Spud mentioned that he has heard something along those lines also.

Did they say as senior coach or rather just that Hardwick had been approached possibly as an assistant? According to BF it was the latter.

If he comes he will most certainly bring in some hardball work. As he was a good hard nut while he played. So I'm all for it if it come to be real.

BT was fairly guarded about what he said.

He mentioned in a coaching capacity and then hinted that it may not be a assistant role and the others in the box were the ones who mentioned as senior coach. BT didnt answer the question.

I think he would be a great addition to our coaching panel as an assistant and possibly someone who could take over from Wallace if he doesnt continue after next season.

March on MMM just before said he is unaware of the club having any discussions with Hardwick.

wallace coached poorly tonight, and he maybe just might leave at years end. maybe this whole miller saga maybe his reasoning to quit. he did quit on the dogs , he may just quit on us. maybe the board wont sack hime but make so many changes that he does not agree with and he maybe will just walk. who knows. i guess on he does, but he did talk about his job as a marriage and a 2 way thing , and did say he has to still wanna be in the marriage or something along those lines. i dont really care who coaches us, i just wanna see an accountable style of footy, non of this zone bs, which failed completely v the cats
