Summary

* Angela told Plough his 'Tuesdays with Terry' got lost this week. Plough said it was wonderful. We were in the news a bit last week.

* Now that the dust has settled what was your take on last week?
Oh look it was get on with business. You can't be focussed on other things apart from the footy. That's where it was for us. We had a couple of days of it and then it needed the focus to be back on what's important and that's the lead and run into the finals.

* Have you spoken to Miller since the formal announcement of his sacking?
Yeah. Whenever you work closely with someone for 4 years you naturally are going to speak to them. In saying that you need to let Greg get on with the rest of his life and we need to get on with what we are doing down here. The two paths can't cross. You can catch up socially and see if things are ok and alright but we have a responsibility to the RFC and that's where it is at.

* Were you shocked when you first learnt of Miller's sacking?
Too be honest I don't really want to go any further into it. We've left it far behind already.

* On to the game - do you expect Johncock to play?
Yes we do. We've heard he's ticked most boxes with their leadership group. We've gone through his statistical data for the season and he's pretty high in a lot of areas - rebound 50s and his ability to win the ball for his team - so Terry said he has no doubt they are a better side with Johncock playing. He'll be a dangerous player in the match.

* How have you prepared for the match when you've got Moran bobbing up last week for a couple of goals. It's not other sides when you can say if we stop this forward and this forward you can win the game. They don't really have any key forwards and in that way they are a little unpredictable?
Yeah they are but Adelaide have always worked on a defensive gameplan. Stop the opposition scoring and then worry what we (Crows) need to do. It's been their line of play for quite sometime. Their strength lies in their backline. It's a settle unit - you have Rutten and Bock playing key positions  and then McLeod in his 300th game, Basset. They've got some real experience down that end of the ground and they require their midfielders to get into that area of the ground and give them assistance, so a lot of the game is low scoring. Sydney only scored 5 or 6 goals them the other week. So you've got to keep the scoreboard ticking over to apply at least some pressure to their line-up.

* Who do you expect to play up forward for them ... they had Bock up there in patches, Moran, a number of players roll through there?
They go with a taller type of line up. They had Stevens play the second half last week as a lead-up CHF. Gill played down there in some shape or form. Look you've got to expect the unexpected.  Where is situation is, where are they at. At the moment they have 4 of their top 8 goalkickers out but sometimes that creates unpredictability. You just need to think back to their premiership sides when Modra went down and someone else stepped into the breach and you're not expecting that. You've done a whole season's worth of work of Modra playing forward and Shane Ellen bobs up on GF day with 5 goals.

* Your side. Any changes we can expect?
We're fit and well. Training on Saturday arvo. Expect everyone to get through. We have a couple of guys pull up a little sore in knees - Simmo and Richo - but both of them look pretty good at this stage of the week. Expect them to get through full training. Browny missed last week so we expect him to be right as well. We'll pretty much go in with a full compliment.

* Losing to Geelong is no disaster as most sides lose but what did you learn from the game?
Well we learnt they are the side to beat for the flag (smirks at stating the obvious) which is what most sides do when they play Geelong. We had our opportunities to get a lot closer than we did. Probably our worst goalkicking performance when you look at the chances we had from 30-40m set shots directly in front. We missed 5 or 6 we could have kicked and it's a 10 goal game well if you get within 5 goals of a Geelong as a young side sort of developing then you're pretty satisfied. But when it blows out to 10 it's not the same and they kicked the last 3 or 4 goals of the game which took the gloss of what he thought was at least a competitive performance.

We think we're heading in the right direction but a real opportunity opens up this week. It's a game for both clubs but Adelaide could afford to lose this game, not that they are thinking that way, but they could afford to lose and still make the finals. For us it pretty much gets down to we need to win this one to make it.

Christian chips in saying he'll phone Adelaide to tell them that to make it easier for Terry (laughs)
Terry replied that all he is saying is the reality for them is they only need 2 or 3 more wins and they'll make the finals.

* Crowd factor over there?
There'll be a massive build up over there anyway with McLeod's 300th. The Adelaide papers will be filled with it over the weekend. They'll drag someone out like a Ben Hart, Shaun Rehn or Riccuito to speak to them pre-game. So you know it'll be on but we have a lot to play for ourselves with Joel's 250th and the playing for a finals berth. So you need to take on allcomers.
