So how did we all rate Jack's 2nd year?

Battled hard in his second year showing signs of things to come and a very smart footy brain.

A very hard worker and if they can squeeze a bit of extra burst of speed out of those legs will become an essential forward player for many years to come.  :thumbsup

Smart player, does alot of good things that are important for the side that don't get put down as stats.

A few games I thought Jack was quite good yep he had very few touches.

Best key forward prospect for years Ive seen at the club.

What I like about him, is that if he's having a quiet day, he tries his guts out to get into the game.

He doesn't have a 'Cleve Hughes' quiet game.

I'm yet to see what the big deal is about young Jack, and was quite surprised to see he'd made such significant increases in his averages in only his 2nd year. Pretty decent numbers for a kpp in his 2nd year.
If he can improve by the same amounts for the next 2 years, then we'll have a good one on our hands.

Good kid will improve just needs to get into games more.
Tries hard and has a good work ethic as well as a reasonable set shot for goal.
Showed maturity in his rising star nomination as well as after his final siren shot against the Saints. An honest contributor. With further development he will enhance his game to a high level because he seems like he wants to make it and he wants to be a long term AFL footy player. For a kid in his second year 6/10.

Tried to do a search to see what the expectations where for Jack pre-season.

I think I would have been happy for him to play 10 or more games, and was really pleased that he got nominated for a Rising Star round.

Would hope that he adds some bulk over the pre-season, however I would think that he gets a solid AFL fitness base first so that he can play the lead-up forwards role a lot more next year.

In the next 2 or 3 years and 10Kg, with perhaps a yard a pace (I know its not asking much of a 19y-o  :lol) the Tigers might just have a multi-dimensional replacement for Richo.

According to Terry not having Polak alongside him in the forward line probably slowed down Jack's maturation some what.
Still I love this kid's willingness to bust his britches as well as his enthusiasm.

6/10.  Showed good natural development and I love his work ethic and attitude towards 'wanting it'.  Is showing all the signs.   :thumbsup

Better than expected year from Jack. He improved his fitness and stayed in contests when the ball hit the ground which he wasn't able to do in his debut year. His fitness as well as strength should improve again with another preseason underneath his belt this summer. Very promising signs and a future leader.

I agree Jack will become a better player with a big key forward alongside him up forward. It was a glimpse into the future to see him, Cleve and Morton work well together.
