I am going Ziebell and Roughhead and not sure about 58 maybe Meyer (if we can do that, I am not too sure of the drafts mechanics)

Can we rookie Meyer?

He is eligible to be a rookie for next year as he won't be 23 until August

My first round guess.....

1. Melb - Watts
2. WCE - Rich
3. Freo - Naitanui
4. Port - Vickery
5. Ess - Yarran
6. Carl - Hurley
7. Bris - Hartlett
8. Rich - Ziebell
9. North - Sidebottom
10. Adel - Blease
11. Coll - Suban
12. Syd - McKernan
13. St K - Sloane
14. Dogs - Ayce Cordy
15. Geel - Tom Swift
16. Haw - Trengove

So for us:

8. Ziebell .......  (alt:  Vickery/Hartlett if they slip. Blease, Sidebottom or McKernan)

26. Roughead ..... our ruckman pick. (alt: Johnston if he's still around, Banner, Zaharakis, Lynch)

58. Luke Shuey .... a guess at this stage but he might slip. In fact there's always a kid who amateur junior footy watches think will go top 25 that slip to late in the draft or miss out altogether.

Can we rookie Meyer?
Yep as wayne said but every other club can have a crack at him too in the National draft  and PSD and 7 will have their first rookie pick before us.

I can see Melb or Port taking Meyer with a late pick....

That's probably why they didn't bother with trading... likely to be de-listed, get him for free in one of the drafts

I wish we did the same. Pick 42 would've been handy  :P. Having just 2 picks inside the top 50 restricts our hand. Either we draft a ruckman at 26 or pick up the scraps at 58  :-\.
