Actually since the second reprint (which is onsale atm at book stores), a few players have sadly passed away.

Frank Hughes Jnr, whose has his own chapter on his father, Checker Hughes.

Peter Sherman, who appears in the Jack Dyer section, so too Mr Alan Maple.


I have done some considerable additional interviews in the last year (Rioli, Jess, Monteath, Raines, Cloke, Parsons, Albiston, Stokes) and hope in the coming year or two we can add those in.

I went back and re-read Oppy's chapter over the weekend. Hiding the plaster for his broken wrist from the umps when they came into the rooms before the game is a great story  .
