Basically the entire list except Richo, Cotchin and Lids (it is a big year).

Extra special pressure to the following:- Polo, Gus, Patto, Jacko, Tambo, Petts, Bowdo, Kane, Cleve-age.

Not so much "under the pump" but being watched closely. I am talking about those that had improved years in 2008. You want them to take the next step

I reckon there a few like that

eg: Morton, Reiwoldt, Jackson, Moore, Thursfield - all showed something but they have to build on 2008

then there a couple that Y&B has flagged

Forgot to mention that I do think enough of them will step up and deliver in '09. Unless we have major injuries, we look good to go for 09.

Id like to think the whole team is under the pump. Youd think it would be the vets Richo, Joel, Sugar and maybe Simmo that are safe and the first year possibly second year boys might be as well.

The usual suspects, Petts, Jon, Cleve, Sarge and Wallace. And the new captain will have to play under more scrutiny! After the draft i wouldnt like to be playing under the kind of pressure that us fans will put on Tom Hislop!

Would add Jake King & Andrew Raines

In terms of 'who will be moved on if they do not perform in '09' well I believe King, Cogs, JON, Polo, Bowden, Brown, Johnson, Jackson and Collins are in danger.

Those who need to perform but have at least a years grace I believe are Raines, Hughes, Connors, Gus and Bling.

I have taken it the same way as Stripes in who will be gone if they don't perform (haven't considered contract situation either).

Very High Chance JON,Petts,King,Bowden,Johnson
Good Chance Polo (but age/midfield depth need may save him), Hughes (our need for a KPP forward may save him), Gus (will depend on Putt and Vickery's development)

Those at risk of the chop for differing reasons...

Raines - 6th year yet needs to show more than one good year and more tricks to his game.
Polak - medically determined in 12 months time
Bowden - retirement?
Polo - 5th year and on the fringe. Apparently on last chance.
Petts - 27/28 y.o., an ACL injury, on the outer before doing his knee, and will be out of contract
Jacko - 6th year and needs to cement his spot in 2009.
Cogs - can he comeback?
Schulz - 7th year and on the fringe.
Patto - depends on our other ruck options in 12 months time. If Gus was to surprise then Patto would slip down the pecking order.
Sugar - retirement?
Silvester - older rookies are always a year to year proposition
Collo - 3rd year so needs to start knocking on the door for a senior debut
King - 2009 is make or break year

There'd also pressure on those who had breakout/good years to back them up in 2009 for us to make the finals as promised. The club will be expecting even the likes of Lids and Moore to at least repeat the level they reached in 2008. You haven't made it until you are consistently good over a number of years.

Some OER posters will be under the pump to show their true colours in 2009. :cheers
