Not really fair to compare his last 2 years considering it's been pretty much all recovery time

If he can bully the bottom 8 and help us into the top 8 I'm happy.

Stats like that are interesting but do not tell the whole story. Some small forwards have dominant Mids/rucks giving them great ammo against all teams. Some don't. We got the spoon in 2007. Hardly a powerful base for a small forward. With a better midfield behind him and with fitness (crucial obviously) Browny will improve those stats. There is no substitute for class and he has class.

In 2007 Browny kicked more goals against the top 8 sides. Mind you in the 11 games he played since his comeback in round 12 that year we played seven top 8 sides and only four bottom 8 sides.

Which goes to prove that there are lies damned lies and statistics. It's not that the stats lie so much as they conceal much of the truth.

Fact is Brown is a class dual All-Australian forward who, when fit, wouldn't be far off anyone's Victorian 22 in a State of Origin.
