Why hasn't Spud admitted....
« on: May 19, 2004, 01:39:50 AM »
I've been quire about dud for weeks now
so here goes........................

Why hasn't Spud admitted that his coaching hasn't been up to
AFL level over the past 4 years.
I find it an interesting question considering ALL of our
players have stood up and ADMITTED they were quite possibly
the worst team in AFL history.

It makes me wonder WHY WHY WHY ???
Surely the coach cant believe he is not to blame for at least SOME of
the crap we have been dishing up.

I would like to hear Frawley come out and say that his coaching
ALSO has been a huge reason for our lack of development and skill error.

Until he does it's apparent we are harbouring not only a dud in denial
but a hypocritical one at that.

After reading the thread about him being on the commitee to
re-elect himself as coach, one cant help but feel the urge to
burn Punt road to the ground.

This guy is a hypocrite who hides behind a veil of mediocrity
worn in public by the players he's stifled.

Surely the RFC wont give him another chance.
PLEASE GOD...NO!!!!!

This is what makes it hard supporting the Tigers, when you know you have a dud coach, and you go to the game with mixed feelings.  You want them to win, but you know the consequences if you do - Danny and the club getting into further unrealistic dreams that Spud can coach.

These last few weeks have been fantastic though - such a buzz winning - but at the back of my mind i'm wondering if we're just gonna show a couple of good games and then go back to our old habits after Danny's been signed on for another 2 years.

If that happens - and we start being crap again, recruiting duds just to prop up Danny's career and not for the long term good of the club - I feel for the future of our club.

But no use worrying about that now - we're winning - and i hope sanity will prevail at the end of the season and we get an experienced or new and "up and coming" (O'Donnell) coach.
