I don't know anything about it either Ox. There was a server problem yesterday caused a couple of threads to have an incorrect reply count and HTTP 500 error messages so the database tables needed a quick repair job. The repair shouldn't have deleted any posts but that's the only forum alteration the admins did yesterday. We certainly didn't delete any posts  ???.

One of the members of Tiger-Talk is a doctor and he posted this info yesterday:

"Meniscal(ie cartilage) tear - if it is only a small tear, it should only
delay him for 2-3 weeks. If a non-athlete had a small tear it is often
reasonable to rest the knee for about 6 weeks, and provided it isn't
catching then they would be alright. The dilemma with athletes is, that
if they are no better after 6 weeks, they then need an arthroscopy,
which delays recovery even further. The worry is what damage has been
done to the cartilage, and what bit of bone has been exposed by the
injury. If the exposed bone is in a weight-bearing spot , then
unfortunately he's in big trouble. We will have to wait for the report
from the surgeon."

Well that gives you confidence  :-\ :P

I see Kosi is injured again as well. Most sides have a player who can't take a trick with injuries.

lol Smokey not the knee again.  ;D l'm going to say it now this lad will never play AFL football ever again with Richmond.
There are too many better & stronger who have taken over from him & he will breakdown trying to win a place & l predict his AFL career will be finished before round 12 & the club will sever his contract & fly him home. end of story sad to say wasted money & spot

Welcome back TM!  ;D

As you know, I was also skeptical about his chances of success but believed the risk to the club was worth the potential return.  My opinion hasn't changed and like you said - we will have a good idea around mid-season whether he has a career or not.
