Mid week everyone its time to move on
« on: April 15, 2009, 06:39:59 PM »
l was so furious like everyone else after last Mondays game, l been watching Melbourne closely from round 1 & seriously think they can give the Tigers a good quality game as long as we also produce some good quality & not like the Round 22 clash l watched last year.
Melbourne have some good young talent & could also have some key players return to thier side & for this l think we are all set for a edge of the seat game. Dont dismiss Melbourne as some easy beat side cause they have played some good football & been in games against the Roos & Magpies upto 3/4 time. Lets all rally & get behind the lads for our possible 1st win of the season against a spirited Demons side & a change to players confidence down at Punt road otherwise if the supporters dont give support & come out for this game we may not recover & it could be damaging to Bowdens career  ;D

So you think Joel will play this week Monk  ;D

I've only seen some of Melb's game against North but I thought they showed a bit there.

Sunday I reckon will all be about mindset - if our is right then we will be right

Come out worrying about the week just gone welll.... let's not go there

Huge day for the RFC is Sunday...

Seriously WP he dont deserve to get a game this week as does Newman, Edwards, Jackson, King, Simmonds, Rewoldt, & a few more could nearly name 75% of the team.

but to answer your question if l was a selector down there NO he be dropped cause his got no excuses to play that type of football after 10 years in the game

This is the difference.

Newman is captian so he keeps playing.
Riewoldt is our only decent key forward hope, so for the good of the future of the football club he should also play next week.
Simmonds is our only ruckman who is mature body wise.

Edwards needs to go to Coburg to learn to kick. Jackson and King have proved they will never learn.

Fairdinkum you'd be trying to win this game by 20 goals, wouldn't ya.
