I think our historically poor percentage may have something to do with the fact that we lose a lot

Sad but true Infamy :help

If there was a such a thing as a ladder of the decade 2000-09 .....we would have the worst % in the comp.87.02%.Even worse than the only team we have had more wins than(Carlton).Still -each year is independant of the last and that provides hope.
Try 1983-2009. The only two clubs worse off than us are now defunct  :P

Results so far this round have bunched up the middle group of teams even further. A win tomorrow will get us back up with the pack with the Lions at the 'G to come next week.

Carlton      12
Coll'wood   12
Bulldogs    12* (assuming they lose to the Saints)
Brisbane    12
Hawthorn   12
-----------------
Essendon   12
Adelaide    12
Sydney       8*
West Coast  8
North          8
Freo            8
Richmond    4*

Oh well that was an ugly six weeks out of the way.

While I only predicted to be 2 and 4 from the first six, the way we lost to Carlton and the Melbourne loss hurt bad and has me concerned about the rest of the season.

On the bright side the way we have been hard at the footy in the last two weeks combined with an easier draw has me hoping for some sunny days ahead.

Horrible Nightmare-ish 6 weeks Chuck....... You know its bad when your mates dont bother giving you sh@t anymore. I almost dont want to say this for fear of being ostracised by my fellow posters but there is a chance we can win 5 out of 6 to nulify this shocking start to the year. There may be more twists and turns to come in 2009.
