3aw laying into Richmond

Dwayne Russell on 3aw tonight spent the first 10 minutes of their show giving every aspect of the club - coaching, recruiting, medical & fitness, admin - all F's. Richmond were flavour of the month in February so it's been a huge fall from grace.

Caro said Richo deserves to be treated differently to the other over 30s and deserves to play on next year. Symbolically so important to Richmond. Means as much to the Tigers as Hird does to Essendon. The injury happening now it's as devastating as it would been in the past and the club is fortunate it didn't happen a month ago when the club was under massive pressure.

Dwayne asked what new coach will come in at the end of the season and accept a condition that you can coach the side on the proviso Richo stays on the list. Alluding that this sort of thing is part and parcel of Richmond's culture. Caro said that scenario may not even happen so no point hypothesising.

Where did I say I'll follow someone else?
I'm merely pointing out where we have gone wrong. Today and for 99% of the time in the last 27 years. If the truth hurts then I'm sorry for being so stuff emotive and passionate.
If we all have every right to be emotive and passionate as was the case at the conclusion of the Brisbane game last year for example for the good then within reason and I consider this a more than just cause to be passionate emotive and angry about Richo's mismanagement and subsequent injury which is bad.

GR12 if you equate a few home truths mentioned by me about a club l have supported all of my 34 years to ripping my membership in half then unfortunantely you have missed the point entirely if not from my message but about me also. I am sure there are others like both of us who are hurting tonight with this awful scenario. We just have different ways in which we bring it to words.

Yep, youre probably correct. Sorry to be so negative, i am hurting and like you have done for a similar period of time. I just never like to bag the club and players as i believe it adds to the culture of failure we have! I also get a little tired of reading all the negative crap that others posters put on here and i took it out on you!
