My comments:
- Whatever Richo needs to do...calf blood...whatever...need to see the champ finish in style (this year or next)
- Fascinated to see what Cousins will do this week...less pressure...day game....
- Need Browny firing

Summary

* Cuz, Simmo and Browny - how did they train?
The boys have got a bit of a run around to do today so until they're ticked off 100 percent they're never ticked off. We'll just go in with the medical staff and make sure that we tick them off. It's always strange when you've got the last session after the side's selected, but at this stage we're expecting them to play.

* All three have a point to prove as everyone does at this point in the competition. Particularly when people speculate your time in the game. They know where the sit within the walls of the footy and the respect they get from their teammates, coaching staff and others at the club. Up to each individual how they react to things external. All we want them is to do their job.

* Simmo?
Expect to play both forward and in the ruck as Gus did well last week.

* Cousins?
We took a precaution and we trained him for two weeks on the training track doing full training and full match play, so we always said that if we took him the extra week on the training track that he would only need the one game at Coburg. That was our plan, but he needed to get a kick and if he showed that he wasn't in any form we wouldn't have played him. We're having an intraclub tonight for all those not in the side so that was an option for Ben but we thought his form and the work that he'd done in the previous fortnight was enough to pick him. But he's only had one game in 18 months at that elite level so we'll see how he goes.

* Rainesy?
Want him to get some confidence in his body. He's had injuries for the past 18 months - quad, knee, etc. It's just not as simple as go out there and play. Andrew would say that his form hasn't been outstanding over the last couple of weeks - he's going OK. He just needs a good solid standout game. We see him as a senior player at the footy club and we went him back up and running as quick as possible.

* Richo's injury?
We've all got decisions to make and it's tough on everyone. Matthew put it to bed about where it sits as the club did earlier in the week and we back in our people to make their decisions as was suggested.

* German calves blood option for Richo?
Surely there's something in some of the professionalism they're doing across there. We'll investigate everything to try to get him back as quickly as possible but more so to make sure that he comes back at 100 percent so it gives him every opportunity to make decisions on his future.Matthew really needs to be confident in his body before he makes any of those decisions. The club, as it did with Cogs will have a look at every opportunity that's out there and if Germany's the way the way that we go, that's the way we go.

* Richo's future?
We believe that he'll play this year, that's purely and simply where it sits, but we'll get his body 100 precent right so that everyone can sit down knowing where he is and where his body's at.

* Brisbane?
They've got 5-6 top liners that have been there right through their premiership campaigns but now they've got some nice young players coming through as well. The combination of both has seem them have some good wins particularly last week. They played very well last week while doing our analysis on them. But it's our home game and you expect to win when you have interstate sides coming to your home game just as interstate sides expect to win when it's their home game. That's our expectation of our group.

* We've put some things place. We thought we played quite well last week. Our first quarter wasn't good and that's hurt us in a few games as we've been left playing catch up footy. We've got to get that right.

* We won't set Kel and McGuane to any particular opponent. They'll play their roles and we'll roll with it.
